Lead Electrical Power Engineer (Staff)

About the Role

A senior technical role focused on designing, analyzing, integrating, and validating complex electrical power architectures for radar systems. You will lead technical efforts, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure power solutions meet performance, reliability, safety, and cost objectives throughout the system lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and integrate complex electrical power architectures for radar systems.
• Lead technical efforts and mentor junior engineers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure power solutions meet performance, reliability, safety, and cost objectives.
• Translate test requirements into procedures and operate test equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with a focus on Power.
• 7–9+ years of experience in power systems engineering.
• Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.
• Expertise in high-power electrical systems (100 kW+).
• Experience with AC/DC and DC/DC converters, inverter/rectifier systems.
• Familiarity with military standards such as MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-1399.
