At CESO, a Lead Electrical Engineer performs a wide variety of technical assignments requiring the application of standard engineering design techniques for small, intermediate, or large projects and completes all necessary tasks on assigned projects so projects finish on time, within budget and consistent with industry production and care standards. The Lead Engineer mentors and supports team members, fostering professional growth and collaboration, while also reviewing and approving engineering deliverables to ensure technical accuracy and consistency.
Responsibilities
- Proactively mentor and coach junior staff, senior team members and other engineers across teams or practices, provide technical oversight and guidance (document production, submittal review, etc.).
- Lead projects or programs from concept through completion.
- Communicate design requirements and assist project managers with project coordination and facilitation between architects, contractors, other engineers, equipment manufacturer representatives, and other team members to determine project scope and feasibility.
- Perform calculations, design advanced building systems, guide team(s) to prepare design documents through coordination with project teams and multiple disciplines, and ensure document production quality meets scope, schedule
