Summary
The Clinical Lead EEG Technologist provides advanced neurodiagnostic expertise and day-to-day operational oversight for the EEG teams in both Portland and Scarborough and the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit at MMC Portland. This role ensures high-quality patient care, consistent clinical standards, efficient workflow coordination, and strong communication across locations. The Lead EEG Tech serves as a working technologist while mentoring staff, supporting training and competency development, and collaborating with physicians, leaders, and multidisciplinary partners within Neuroscience Services.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- License/Certifications:
- Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited Neurodiagnostic Technology Program required.
- Current ABRET credential (R. EEG T.) required.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
- Advanced credentials (CNIM, CLTM) preferred.
- Maintains required continuing education (minimum 10 CEUs annually).
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of EEG experience.
- Additional Skills/Requirements Required:
- Experience with LTM, EMU operations, or ICU EEG monitoring.
- Proficiency with EEG acquisition systems and neurodiagnostic software.
- Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred:
- Demonstrated leadership or mentoring experience preferred.
- Multisite or supervisory experience preferred.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $34.35 to $46.46 per hour. Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
