About the role
MacMore is seeking a part-time Experienced Lead eDiscovery Consultant/Project Manager for a pending contract award at the Farm Credit Administration. The position is located in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, with primary concentration at the FCA headquarters office in McLean, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for matters related to the execution of the Statement of Work between the Contractor’s project team and the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR).
- Schedule and facilitate weekly meetings with the COR to review project progress, including completed tasks, upcoming tasks, and any issues.
- Manage, coordinate, schedule, deliverables, and communication for the task order.
- Develop a Project Management Plan (PMP) including milestones, risks, and reporting cadence.
- Develop and assist in pilot testing to validate workflows, tooling configuration, and standard operating procedure (SOP) accuracy.
- Monitor performance, identify issues, and refine processes before full rollout.
- Participate in technical reviews and demos as directed by the COR.
- Conduct detailed quality control on the eDiscovery lifecycle and document quality control assessments.
- Adhere to FCA’s policies, processes, and procedures in performance of all tasks, including change management, vulnerability management, records management, privacy, and security.
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing or leading eDiscovery teams.
- Experience architecting and implementing eDiscovery workflows.
- Experience implementing procedures that deal with sensitive data.
- Experience working in federal or highly regulated environments.
- Ability to communicate with business and technical stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of legal tech tools available in the market, including Microsoft Purview and Relativity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of recent experience (education may not be substituted for experience), including:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an eDiscovery Project Manager.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an eDiscovery Technical Specialist.
- Expert experience leading, administering, configuring, tuning, troubleshooting, and improving eDiscovery program area responsibilities.
- Experience and working knowledge of Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) standards.
- Proficient in technical writing and documentation.
- Experience in data governance, retention, and data systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Purview and related Microsoft 365 compliance tools.
- Experience with legal hold, preservation, and data-collection best practices.
- Experience in information security, access control, and auditing practices.
- Familiarity with federal government procurement process and requirements.
