Lead DSP / Lead Caregiver

About the Role

Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), also known as Caregivers, empower individuals with developmental disabilities to live their most independent lives possible.

Responsibilities

• Help residents with dining, mobility, health, and hygiene activities.
• Accompany individuals while running errands.
• Attend special community occasions and fun activities like outdoor walks, games, and social events.
• Assist individuals in achieving their personal goals and desires.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess an active driver’s license in good standing with a good driving record.
• Willing and able to pass a background check.
• Willing to complete an Adult CPR and First Aid course (certification already held is a plus).
• Embody patience, kindness, and possess a servant’s heart and hands.
• Able to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds.
• 1 year of DSP experience.

Schedule

Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, and every other Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
