Lead Driver

About the Role

Vi at The Glen is located at 2500 Indigo Lane, Glenview, IL 60026. As a Lead Driver, you will transport residents to and from appointments and outings using community vehicles, which may include buses, vans, limousines, sedans, and trams. This role ensures residents receive appropriate assistance during outings and assists the Lifestyle Director with scheduling, recordkeeping, and training.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to and from appointments and outings using community vehicles.
• Provide appropriate assistance to residents during outings.
• Assist the Lifestyle Director with scheduling, recordkeeping, and training.
• Fulfill all operational tasks involving driving.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months experience as a bus/van driver.
• Valid and current driver's license for the vehicle class driven at time of hire.
• Willingness to obtain a CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications, or willingness and ability to become certified.
• Clean DMV driving record.
• Knowledge of the surrounding neighborhood area.

Pay

USD $22.45 - USD $27.49 per hour.
