LEAD DRIVER

Join the SkyHop Global team as our Leader on Duty for the fantastic TPA location. You'll be at the helm, steering a group of drivers towards excellence while making the most of the best cost options to boost profitability and create unforgettable customer experiences. Responsibilities

• Direct and inspire your team of drivers with leadership that focuses on process improvement, team-building, coaching, and feedback.
• Keep overtime to a minimum, except for rare emergency situations.
• Assist the Station Manager by interviewing, selecting, training, motivating, coaching, and mentoring transport drivers.
• Oversee the daily maintenance review of the fleet, ensuring everything runs smoothly and reporting concerns promptly.
• Conduct regular safety audits, lead station safety meetings, and meet with individual staff members to ensure a secure work environment.
• Help the Station Manager manage local permits and vehicle registrations.
• Maintain stellar relationships with airport ground transportation and attend required meetings.

Requirements

• Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• At least 21 years old (per DOT requirements).
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
• Obtain a Non-CDL DOT Medical Card.

Pay

Competitive salary of $20.00 per hour, plus daily cash tips.

Schedule

Day shifts, evening shifts, holidays, night shifts, on-call responsibilities, and weekends as needed. Expect to spend 25‑50% of scheduled time in the field.
