Lead Driver

Location: RDU Station – Raleigh-Durham, NC

About the role

SkyHop Global is seeking a full-time AM Leader on Duty to support and lead morning operations at our RDU station. This is a true player-coach role—you will actively drive, lead by example, and ensure safe, reliable, and professional service during our busiest hours. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on leadership position and understands the demands of a 24/7/365 transportation operation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site leader during the 3:00 AM–10:00 AM shift, ensuring safe, on-time service.
• Operate company vehicles as needed to maintain coverage and service flow.
• Provide real-time direction, reinforce standards, and model professionalism to coach and support drivers.
• Conduct vehicle and readiness checks and enforce safety and company policies.
• Assist with communication, scheduling adjustments, training reinforcement, and required documentation.
• Handle issues calmly and effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required).
• Minimum 3 years of licensed driving experience.
• Ability to pass background check, MVR, and drug screening.
• Comfortable driving large passenger vans.
• Prior leadership, lead, or supervisory experience (preferred).
• Strong communication skills and a hands-on, accountable leadership style.
• Full-time availability required, including weekends and holidays.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work early morning hours consistently.

Pay

Starting at $20.00/hour plus daily cash tips (earning potential up to $25/hour).

Schedule

3:00 AM – 10:00 AM | Full-Time | Weekends & Holidays
