Lead Drafter

About the role

The Lead Drafter is responsible for overseeing the drafting and design process for construction projects. They ensure all plans meet local building codes and are accurate.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the drafting and design process for construction projects
• Ensure all plans comply with local building codes
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve design issues
• Review and approve drawings before they are finalized
• Provide technical support to project teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction drafting and design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
