Lead Door Assembler

Responsibilities

• Prepare and receive parts for door assemblies, ensuring every component matches the project's specifications.
• Position and align parts using hoists, templates, or manual techniques.
• Carefully inspect materials for defects and assemble complex pieces with specialized tools and equipment, such as wiring harnesses.
• Conduct quality checks and perform continuity tests to ensure the finished product meets the highest standards.
• Collaborate with your team and adhere to safety protocols to keep the process smooth and efficient.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalency.
• Fluency in English, ability to both read and speak.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Physical stamina to stand and lift heavy objects.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to understand schematics, technical manuals, templates, and blueprints.
• Ability to read a tape measure down to 1/16" and calculate basic fractions.
• Ability to confirm assigned components have been set on doors as identified by the project.
• Willingness to work overtime hours.
