Lead Direct Support Professional

About the role

We are seeking compassionate and dependable individuals to join our team as Live-In Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, meals, etc.)
• Aid in medication administration
• Drive individuals to appointments, social activities, and community outings
• Maintain a safe, clean, and positive living environment
• Document services provided and monitor progress toward individual goals
• Be a role model and advocate for independence and dignity

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and a caring attitude
• Ability to work flexible hours and live on-site during scheduled shifts
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities preferred
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
• Pass background check and drug screening
• Experience with 6400 regulations plus a plus
• Successfully complete motor vehicle records and background check

Qualifications

Essential functions include supporting daily living activities, assisting with medication administration, driving individuals, maintaining a safe environment, documenting services, and advocating for independence.
