About the role
Accessible Space Inc. is currently seeking a full time Lead Direct Support Professional (Lead DSP) to provide personal care services to adults with physical disabilities, as well as offer encouragement and support for our location in White Bear Lake.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living
- Ensure that residents receive proper medication
- Assist with personal cares
- Prepare meals
- Perform any other necessary job duties to meet the needs and improve the quality of life for the individuals we serve
- Observe and communicate appropriate site, staff, and resident information to the Program Manager
- Serve as the staff member in charge in the absence of the Program Manager
Qualifications
- 18+ years of age
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to perform job functions with little supervision
- Sense of caring and desire to make a difference
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Previous job related experience is desirable
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
Schedule
First shift (Day).
Compensation
$21.00 / hourly.
