Pay Range: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour
Under the Hood: What It Takes to Join NFI
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Preferred ability to obtain a Class B license
- Technical or advanced degree or 3-5 years of equivalent maintenance experience
- Familiarity with troubleshooting equipment repairs and maintenance with diagnostic tools and equipment such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows
- Successfully demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Examples of teamwork and customer service skills, including good oral and written communication skills
- On-site evaluation with recommended training
What It Takes to Join NFI
- Handle organization and tracking of POs
- Organize the shop workload for the shop technicians
- Work well with the Shop Service Manager on leadership tasks
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical tractor and trailer-related issues using standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance on our fleet of trucks & trailers
- Perform DOT inspection per FMCSA guidelines
- Physically capable of performing all job duties, which include being able to lift and/or pull 75 lbs or more without restriction, stand or lie for extended periods, and have flexible movement to reach equipment
