Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage secure, scalable AWS environments using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
- Architect highly available, multi-tenant cloud systems with a focus on resilience, disaster recovery, and performance optimization.
- Manage and optimize container orchestration using Amazon EKS/Kubernetes for reliable application deployment and scaling.
- Implement and govern multi-account AWS environments with AWS Control Tower, automating provisioning, compliance, and security policies.
- Build, maintain, and evolve robust CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building, and deployment.
- Led network security initiatives, including firewall configuration, Intrusion Detection and Prevention (IDS/IPS), and strict IAM policy enforcement.
- Own and manage SOC 2 compliance and other relevant regulatory frameworks, including audits and documentation.
- Mentor and lead a diverse, distributed DevOps team; foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Serve as the key liaison between development, security, and operations teams to align priorities and ensure smooth delivery.
Qualifications
- Extensive hands-on experience with Terraform in production environments.
- Expert-level knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, Control Tower, etc.).
- Proven experience designing and operating multi-tenant cloud architectures.
- Strong skills with Kubernetes/EKS container orchestration and management.
- Demonstrated ability with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or equivalent).
- In-depth understanding of network security, IDS/IPS systems, and IAM best practices.
- Experience owning SOC 2 compliance or similar security frameworks, including audits.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills with experience managing remote/global teams.
- Proven track record of taking initiative and thriving in fast-paced environments.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred.
