About the role
The DevOps Engineer will lead the standardization of application deployments, containerization, and release processes across Cencora's organization. They will design and implement consistent, repeatable deployment pipelines, containerize applications using Docker and orchestration platforms like ECS or Kubernetes, establish shared CI/CD frameworks, and create the tooling and documentation that empowers engineering teams to ship reliably and confidently.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience required
- Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred
- 6+ years of experience in platform engineering, software engineering, infrastructure engineering, site reliability engineering, or a related field required
- Certification in cloud platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, site reliability engineering, or equivalent preferred
Qualifications
- Pragmatic, communicative, and genuinely motivated by making other teams more productive
- Comfortable balancing technical depth with cross-team collaboration
- Experience with modern DevOps tooling - CI/CD systems (such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins), infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Helm), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
Skills
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices
- Experience with CI/CD systems, infrastructure-as-code, and cloud platforms
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to balance technical depth with cross-team collaboration
