Your Impact
You will help power CareerSafe, serving more than 3 million users annually, while supporting cloud platforms that operate in regulated environments where reliability, security, and audit readiness matter.
This is a hands-on, player-coach role.
- Leading DevOps and cloud engineering through technical direction, not hierarchy. You set standards, guide implementation, and stay close to the work while helping other engineers grow in capability and ownership.
- BUILDING AND EVOLVING CI/CD PIPELINES, INFRASTRUCTURE-AS-CODE, AND AUTOMATION FRAMEWORKS THAT MAKE DEPLOYMENTS PREDICTABLE, REPEATABLE, AND LOW-RISK.
- EMBRYODING SECURITY AND COMPLIANCE INTO THE WAY SYSTEMS ARE BUILT AND DEPLOYED, NOT AS A SEPARATE STEP, BUT AS PART OF HOW THE PLATFORM OPERATES DAY TO DAY.
- ENGINEERING AND IMPROVING CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE ACROSS AWS, GOVCLOUD, AND AZURE, SURENING SYSTEMS ARE SCALABLE, RESILIENT, AND COST-EFFECTIVE.
- PARTNERING CLOSER WITH APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT, ARCHITECTURE, AND SECURITY TO ENSURE PLATFORMS SUPPORT FAST, RELIABLE, AND SECURE DELIVERY.
- STRENGTHENING PLATFORM RELIABILITY AND OPERATIONAL DISCIPLINE, RESOLVING COMPLEX ISSUES WHEN THEY ARISE AND REDUCING THE LIKELIHOOD THEY HAPPEN AGAIN.
- CONTRIBUTING DIRECTLY TO THE WORK. THIS ROLE IS NOT ABOUT DELEGATING FROM A DISTANCE. IT IS ABOUT BUILDING SYSTEMS, IMPROVING THEM, AND HELPING OTHERS DO THE SAME.
