About the role
You will play a key role in building the sales pipeline by identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential customers. You will collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to create meaningful customer conversations and support revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Generate and qualify sales opportunities by identifying potential customers, understanding their needs, and creating strong connections with prospects.
- Support revenue growth through strategic outreach, effective lead management, and close collaboration with sales and marketing teams.
- Generate qualified sales leads through customer databases, marketing-generated opportunities, outbound prospecting, and targeted campaigns.
- Research target organizations, identify ideal customer profiles, and engage key decision-makers.
- Conduct discovery and qualification conversations to understand prospect needs, challenges, priorities, and buying processes.
- Schedule qualified meetings and product demonstrations for sales representatives.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, including prospect interactions, lead status, and qualification details.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure smooth lead handoffs and effective campaign execution.
- Develop creative prospecting campaigns aligned with marketing strategies and market opportunities.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitive activity, and evolving product offerings.
- Achieve or exceed monthly lead generation, activity, and conversion goals.
- Continuously improve outreach strategies by incorporating feedback, performance insights, and sales best practices.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills, curiosity, persistence, and a passion for building relationships.
- Comfortable working in a goal-oriented sales environment, learning new technologies, and engaging with prospects through multiple channels.
- Proven experience in lead generation, sales development, business development, or a related role, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and build trust with prospects.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly establish rapport with potential customers.
- Resilience, persistence, and the ability to handle objections positively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet goals.
- Comfortable using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, sales engagement tools, and online research platforms.
- Ability to learn quickly, accept feedback, and continuously improve sales techniques.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving measurable results.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
