Lead Dentist

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation with patients and discuss and treat dental concerns
• Perform regular cleanings and other preventative procedures
• Establish a comprehensive treatment plan for better dental hygiene and positive restorative outcomes
• Perform dental procedures, such as extractions, root canals, and filling cavities
• Apply preventative measures for teeth, such as sealants or whiteners
• Prescribe medications such as pain medications or antibiotics
• Keep accurate records relating to the patient's oral health and the tx rendered to them
• Manage positively and communicate with team to provide outstanding care to patients
• Routine follow-up with patients whom you’ve provided treatment via phone or email
• Manage both patient experiences and patient expectations to create a positive outcome

Qualifications

• Active IL dental license plus at least eight years of practice experience
• Compliance with all local, state, and federal laws regarding dental and healthcare
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to keep detailed records
• Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, tools, thorough tx planning skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership qualities
• Able to manage dental complications for any procedure performed on a patient
• Ability to place implants or perform specialty work
• Able to adapt to Dentologie’s learning environment and be willing to accept constructive feedback and guidance - eager to further enhance your skillset
