Responsibilities
- Provide consultation with patients and discuss and treat dental concerns
- Perform regular cleanings and other preventative procedures
- Establish a comprehensive treatment plan for better dental hygiene and positive restorative outcomes
- Perform dental procedures, such as extractions, root canals, and filling cavities
- Apply preventative measures for teeth, such as sealants or whiteners
- Prescribe medications such as pain medications or antibiotics
- Keep accurate records relating to the patient's oral health and the tx rendered to them
- Manage positively and communicate with team to provide outstanding care to patients
- Routine follow-up with patients whom you’ve provided treatment via phone or email
- Manage both patient experiences and patient expectations to create a positive outcome
Qualifications
- Active IL dental license plus at least eight years of practice experience
- Compliance with all local, state, and federal laws regarding dental and healthcare
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to keep detailed records
- Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, tools, thorough tx planning skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership qualities
- Able to manage dental complications for any procedure performed on a patient
- Ability to place implants or perform specialty work
- Able to adapt to Dentologie’s learning environment and be willing to accept constructive feedback and guidance - eager to further enhance your skillset
