Lead Dental Assistant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and compassionate Lead Dental Assistant to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled dental professional ready to take the next step in their career by helping lead a dynamic clinical team while delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Encourage efficient and office-focused use of time and discussions.
• Lead and participate in staff meetings with skills including facilitation, training, and problem-solving.
• Collaborate with the doctor and other team leaders on resolving conflicts that affect daily operations.
• Support the overall goals and strategies, per the Annual Plan.
• Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
• Engage and foster patients through a positive experience.
• Engage in the Spear Analytics Platform, Action Center, My Day, and Weekly/Monthly Reports to be accountable for the systems involved in the back-office experience.
• Supervise and monitor lab work, sterilization, x-ray protocols, chairside assisting, and new technology (Cerec, CBCT, etc.).

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of dental assisting experience preferred.
• CEREC and scanning experience.
• Prior leadership or mentoring experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Positive attitude and team-focused mindset.
• Passion for delivering outstanding patient care.
• Experience with digital dentistry and modern technology is a plus.
• Current Arizona radiography certification required.

• Tuesday: 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Wednesday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Thursday: OFF
• Friday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
