This senior role is based in the United States and focuses on designing and evolving high-impact product demonstrations that showcase sophisticated enterprise finance capabilities.

About the role

You will work closely with presales, product commercialization, product management, and other teams to turn business needs into compelling demo experiences. The role combines deep technical expertise, financial and business understanding, and strong customer-facing communication skills. You will lead complex demo initiatives, develop innovative use cases, and help demonstrate new platform capabilities and competitive advantages. You will also mentor other Demo Engineers and serve as a trusted technical resource across the broader sales organization. Success requires staying ahead of product innovation while understanding customer challenges and the competitive CPM landscape. This is an opportunity to influence sales outcomes, shorten sales cycles, and bring complex technology to life for customers and executives.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Field Presales, Product Commercialization, Product Management, and other stakeholders to design, build, and continuously improve standard and industry-focused product demonstrations that support sales growth, shorter sales cycles, and larger opportunities.
  • Create imaginative use cases and visually compelling demonstrations that clearly communicate the value, capabilities, innovations, and competitive advantages of the platform.
  • Lead Demo Engineers on large, strategically important demo-content initiatives, coordinating technical and functional delivery.
  • Act as an early adopter of new and emerging platform capabilities, incorporating relevant innovations into demonstration experiences.
  • Mentor and coach Demo Engineers, helping strengthen the team’s technical, functional, business, and industry expertise.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the platform roadmap, upcoming capabilities, and associated marketplace solutions.
  • Provide technical and functional support to Presales and other internal users of demo applications, resolving issues and maintaining a high level of stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Serve as a senior technical resource for Demo Engineers, Sales Consultants, Sales Development teams, and Sales representatives.
  • Translate complex customer requirements and business challenges into clear, relevant, and persuasive demonstration content.
  • Assess customer environments rapidly, identify relevant use cases and deployment opportunities, and provide guidance around appropriate cloud solutions.
  • Lead technical discussions with customers and internal stakeholders while identifying solutions that align with business requirements and customer objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Technology, or a related discipline; an advanced degree is desirable.
  • 6+ years of application management experience, including building, developing, and deploying applications.
  • Strong technical experience with enterprise performance management, corporate performance management, or comparable CPM platforms.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in the CPM industry, with a solid understanding of finance and accounting processes.
  • Experience developing and/or implementing OneStream applications is strongly preferred, particularly 4+ years of hands-on experience.
  • Previous experience as a Senior Solution Consultant, Senior Demo Engineer, Solutions Architect, Technical Solutions Engineer, consultant, or similar customer-facing technical role is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to rapidly assess customer environments and identify relevant use cases and cloud deployment targets.
  • Strong business analysis and financial modeling capabilities, with the ability to connect technical solutions to financial and operational outcomes.
  • Excellent technical, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with confidence leading technical conversations and presenting to C-level executives.
  • Strong listening skills and impeccable attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate sophisticated technical and business concepts into clear, persuasive demonstrations.
  • Proven ability to mentor others, collaborate across teams, manage multiple priorities, and operate effectively with limited supervision.
  • Results-driven, credible, professional, flexible, and adaptable approach.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
