Lead Delivery Driver

Responsibilities

• Deliver customers' boxes to the correct address, during the correct time window, and in pristine condition.
• Comply with all DOT and Misfits Market safety standards, including wearing seatbelts, safely exiting and entering traffic, using hands-free cellular features, and using proper lifting form.
• Lead team during pre-shift meetings and cover important company topics like safety.
• Lead team during the load out process, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
• Help onboard new drivers and train to company standards.
• Conduct quarterly driver observations to ensure drivers and markets meet company standards.
• Deliver customer orders directly to their doorstep, verifying delivery in the routing app.
• Safely navigate varying weather conditions and hazards throughout the shift, both inside and outside the vehicle.
• Use proper lifting form to safely load and unload up to 150 boxes per shift, each weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Support the Packaging Return Program by picking up and documenting customer recycling.
• Support overall delivery volume, which may include helping other drivers complete their routes or working overtime as needed.

Requirements

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Possess a valid state-issued driver's license for at least 2 years.
• Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• 2 years of previous delivery driving experience.
• Comfortable operating a delivery van in all types of weather conditions.
• Willingness to work overtime and/or possible weekends if needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to sit, stand, squat, kneel, and bend repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Experience working in a food-based environment.

Pay

Competitive Hourly Rate: $20.50
