About the role
The Goddard School of Roswell (Holcomb Bridge) has been providing exceptional early childhood education since 2000. We are dedicated to supporting our teachers through ongoing training, collaboration, and leadership opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
- Lead daily classroom routines and learning experiences
- Build positive relationships with children and families
- Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming classroom
- Ensure compliance with all state licensing and Goddard standards
- Collaborate with school leadership and mentor Assistant Teachers
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- CDA, TCC, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Experience as a Lead Teacher in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Passion for early childhood education and child development
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
