Lead Data Science Product Mgr

Responsibilities

• Engage senior and executive leadership to understand their most significant business challenges
• Design new AI products and solutions to automate or enable better decision making to address these challenges
• Build long-term product roadmaps
• Scale and deliver on these products by working within cross-functional data science, IT, and business teams
• Provide overall product leadership for one or more of our machine learning and AI initiatives
• Indirect leadership over data scientists and engineers assigned to these initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor degree and 5 years of work experience in a mathematical, statistical, computer science, engineering, physics, economics or related quantitative field
• Actuarial credential or Master degree and 4 years of work experience in an advanced mathematical, statistical, engineering, physics or related quantitative field
• Ph.D. and 2 years of work experience in a mathematical, statistical, computer science, engineering, physics, economics or related quantitative field
• 8 years of work experience in an advanced mathematical, statistical, engineering, physics or related quantitative field
• Demonstrate proficiency in at least four of the following six areas: data analysis and relational-style query languages, machine learning and/or statistical modeling, data visualization, a high-level programming language, understanding of healthcare, and understanding of insurance claims systems

Skills

• Previous product management experience
• Experience with Generative AI and other cutting edge AI technologies (e.g., agentic AI)
• Previous experience working with insurance claims systems and/or healthcare experience
• Experience with Iterative / Agile / Scrum development
• Experience successfully implementing at-scale A.I. solutions in cloud environments

Pay

$112,200.00 - $202,600.00 Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location
