About the Role
Stock Plan Services, an equity compensation services division of client, is seeking an experienced Lead Data Migration Engineer who can lead enterprise-wide data migration strategy, architecture, and execution. Drives large-scale migrations across complex systems while influencing organizational direction, standards, and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the data migration strategy and roadmap across programs
- Lead architecture decisions for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT)
- Drive cross-functional alignment (Product, Engineering, Data, Business stakeholders)
- Establish data standards, governance, and best practices
- Oversee end-to-end migration lifecycle (planning → execution → validation → cutover)
- Mitigate risks related to data integrity, quality, and performance
- Design scalable solutions for high-volume, complex data ecosystems
- Mentor senior engineers and build organizational capability
Requirements
- 10+ years in data engineering / migration roles
- Expertise in data architecture, distributed systems, and database design
- Experience with large-scale migrations (cloud, platform modernization)
- Strong knowledge of ETL tools (Azure Data Factory, Informatica, etc.)
- Deep understanding of data quality, governance, and compliance
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with resiliency and stability design principles, including SRE

Pay
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $103,330 to $128,656 per year. This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full-time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits for eligible employees.
