Lead Data Informaticist

For our client, we are seeking a Lead Data Informaticist to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will guide the design and governance of data pipelines, analytical models, and metadata practices that support trustworthy decision-making across healthcare operations. The position will also help shape environments for AI-assisted analytics, with a strong focus on data integrity, business logic, and the reliability of insights. Cross-functional partnership with business and technical stakeholders will be essential to translate requirements into reusable data assets and maintain consistent analytical standards. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $117,600 – $161,700 annually Responsibilities Design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines in Databricks Translate business requirements into reusable data models Document and maintain metadata for data sources and transformations Govern business logic for key performance indicators and analytical methodologies Integrate disparate data sources while preserving data integrity Build environments for reliable AI-assisted analytics Evaluate accuracy and completeness of AI-generated insights Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience 7+ years in data analytics, informatics, or related disciplines Experience leading complex analytical initiatives Hands-on experience in cloud-based data environments Strong SQL skills with complex analytical transformations Experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines Familiarity with healthcare datasets, particularly pharmacy claims Benefits Medical, dental, and vision benefits 401(k) retirement savings plan Paid time off and holidays Paid parental and caregiver leave Short-term and long-term disability insurance Life insurance and wellness programs Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
