About the role
The Lead Data Coordinator & Analyst will support the Transplant Services team at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. This position involves maintaining and updating departmental databases, supervising data coordinators, and ensuring data accuracy and compliance.Responsibilities
- Maintain and update departmental databases with accurate, verified data
- Supervise data coordinators; manage dashboards and executive reports
- Document departmental procedures and regulatory resources
- Cover QA/PI data with Quality Improvement Specialist for timeliness and accuracy
- Run weekly/monthly QC checks to ensure data integrity
- Submit confirmation and audit reports promptly
- Safeguard data confidentiality through robust control measures
- Support special projects with research, analysis, and reporting
- Maintain manual and digital filing systems, including confidential documentation
- Participate in professional development through trainings and workshops
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Health related field, Information Systems or related field or equivalent work experience
- 3 years of experience as a data coordinator
- Computer knowledge required. Strong Excel skills preferred
- Previous leadership experience preferred
- Excellent Time Management Skills
