About the role

The Lead Customer Service Representative position is responsible for providing excellent customer service in a team-based environment for all aspects of patient business activity within the Practice. CSR responsibilities include handling telephones, client registration/check-in, patient appointment scheduling, insurance verification, authorization, pre-certifications, referrals, and posting charges, initial collections, preparing well-coded and accurate billing and maintenance of medical records. Detailed oriented and possess excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills. Ability to effectively communicate and present information, respond to questions and problem-solving skills. Responsible for meeting the following criteria: Provides support to the business activities of a multi-practitioner practice where there is a manager over two or more offices without a supervisor on site. Depending on the specific Practice needs, this position may be required to manage the business services for workers compensation, commercial carriers, employee health and corporate accounts. Late hours, holidays and weekends may be required. Other duties as assigned by the Manager/Supervisor of the department.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Educational Requirements: Degree/Diploma Obtained in any program of study, High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum 2 years of Customer Service experience
  • Licenses/Registrations: Not Required
