Responsibilities

  • Aids in the training, coaching, and supervision of custodial staff
  • Performs light and heavy cleaning tasks, including cleaning bathrooms and locker rooms, sweeping, mopping, disposing of garbage, etc.
  • Restocks restrooms with supplies
  • Works safely, quickly, and efficiently to meet all deadlines
  • Maintains a positive, outgoing demeanor and acknowledges guests in a friendly manner
  • Possesses basic computer skills
  • Performs all other tasks assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications

  • 2 years cleaning or event-related experience required
  • Prior lead or supervisory responsibilities preferred
  • Basic understanding of how to use cleaning equipment
  • Ability to operate scrubbers, buffers, carpet extractors, etc.
  • Basic understanding of SDS
  • Basic understanding of PPE
  • Able to arrive for each scheduled shift on time, in uniform and ready to work
  • Able to work morning, afternoon, and/or overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Able to lift and carry heavy objects as needed
  • Able to stand on feet for long periods of time, to kneel, stoop, climb stairs and reach above head, as well as perform repetitive motions in connection with cleaning tasks
