About The Job
Lumin8 Transportation Technologies LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Crew Leader to join our team. Our Construction Crew Leaders work under the direction of the Superintendent. The qualified individual will be responsible for all construction activities related to the installation of new vehicular traffic monitoring sensors. These activities include, but are not limited to, leading a crew in the closure of travel lanes in the roadway, trenching and installation of conduit, the installation of concrete pole foundations, and the installation of traffic monitoring sensors in the roadway. Crew leaders must ensure the compliance of plans and specifications according to contract protocols and company requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead a crew in the closure of travel lanes in the roadway
- Trenching and installation of conduit
- The installation of concrete pole foundations
- The installation of traffic monitoring sensors in the roadway
- Ensure compliance of plans and specifications according to contract protocols and company requirements
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree from a two-year college or university (preferred)
- 4-6 years related experience and/or formalized training
- Previous construction experience in traffic monitoring, signalized intersections, and/or maintenance of traffic (desired but not essential)
- Experience in operating construction equipment, including floor saw, pavement breaker, air compressors, excavation equipment, etc. (desired but not essential)
