About the role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Product Portfolio Specialist / Portfolio Manager to join its Accounts Receivable Securitization (ARS) team. This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of ARS clients, overseeing ongoing credit and collateral performance, and supporting portfolio growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of approximately 9-12 Accounts Receivable Securitization clients.
  • Monitor portfolio performance through borrowing base reviews, field exam analysis, covenant compliance, and ongoing risk assessment.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at retaining and growing the ARS portfolio, including identifying opportunities to enhance profitability and deepen client relationships.
  • Lead transaction amendments and facility modifications, including commitment increases, renewals, deposit account control agreement changes, and borrowing base structural enhancements.
  • Exercise sound judgment in complex situations by balancing client needs with credit discipline, risk management standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with Risk Management, Banking, Legal, Operations, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and achieve business objectives.
  • Communicate key portfolio developments, emerging risks, and mitigation strategies to management and risk partners.
  • Serve as a resource and mentor to peers, helping develop best practices and fostering collaboration across the ARS platform.
  • Participate in and lead special projects, including regulatory, policy, process improvement, and business transformation initiatives.

Requirements

5+ years of secured or specialized lending relationship management or portfolio management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Accounts Receivable Securitization, Asset-Based Lending (ABL), or other structured finance products.
  • Strong financial analysis and credit risk management skills.
  • Experience working with large corporate clients, including companies with annual revenues exceeding $750 million.
  • Proven ability to manage complex client relationships and transaction structures.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking, or Investment Banking environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions.

Schedule

This position offers a hybrid work schedule with up to 10% travel. Willingness to work on-site at the stated location on the job opening.
