Lead Counter Sales Associate
About the role
The Lead Counter Sales Associate plays a crucial part in helping to build America by serving as a key point of contact for customers, managing orders, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates exceptional customer service to walk-in, phone, and will call customers.
- Orders products, arranges delivery, contacts customers regarding delivery, and updates customers on order status.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for escalated issues.
- Provides training and support to new counter staff.
- Acts as a liaison between the supervisor and customers.
- Safeguards purchase orders and ensures they are completed accurately.
- Upsells by identifying related products, add-on extensions, and making customers aware of product promotions.
- Maintains and cleans merchandise displays.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Preferred qualifications include 2 to 4 years of experience in customer service, selling, or a related field.
- Experience using sales order computer software, particularly Oracle.
- Knowledge of the company's product lines.
