In this role, you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements and reports, lead complex accounting projects, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and corporate policies.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Maintain accounting systems and manage the general ledger.
Oversee month-end and year-end close processes.
Prepare journal entries.
Manage records of assets, liabilities, and financial transactions.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
Prepare and file tax returns and statutory filings.
Identify tax-saving opportunities and provide tax-related guidance.
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets.
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Coordinate internal and external audits.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree, BS or BA, desired.
5+ years of related experience.
PREFERRED: CPA or aspiring CPA.
Pay
Our Lead Accountant jobs earn between $106,100.00 - $178,200.00 USD Annual.
