Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accounting systems and manage the general ledger.
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare journal entries.
- Manage records of assets, liabilities, and financial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
- Prepare and file tax returns and statutory filings.
- Identify tax-saving opportunities and provide tax-related guidance.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree, BS or BA, desired.
- 5+ years of related experience.
Preferred Certifications
- CPA or aspiring CPA.
Salary Range
This role earns between $106,100.00 - $178,200.00 USD Annual.
