Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure efficient food preparation and service within the AT&T Discovery District
- Lead and support kitchen team members to maximize productivity, organization, and operational efficiency
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment in accordance with company and health department standards
- Aid in food preparation, cooking, and execution for concessions, events, and daily service operations
- Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and guest experience across all service areas
- Manage inventory levels and prepare products according to management direction and food safety guidelines
- Operate, clean, and maintain kitchen equipment and workstations properly
- Support event day operations and remain available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Approach all tasks with a positive, team-oriented, and guest-focused attitude
- Demonstrate professionalism, initiative, and a strong sense of accountability in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold company standards at all times
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to walk, reach, stand, bend for long periods of time
- Able to work flexible hours (evenings, weekends, holidays)
- Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills
- Team player
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Previous cooking experience required
- Culinary training preferred
- Must have two (2) to three (3) years working in a fast-paced high-end club, or restaurant
- Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training
- Follow and encourage your team to follow all safety policies and procedures, including but not limited to looking for and reporting any unsafe work conditions, and complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training
- Report all safety incidents (injuries and illnesses) into the company’s risk management system (Origami Risk) on the same day that the safety incident has been reported to you
