About the role
The Lead Controls & Firmware Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex control systems and firmware for our cutting-edge products. This role requires a deep understanding of embedded systems, programming languages like C/C++, and experience with hardware design tools.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop firmware for embedded systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers
- Contribute to the development of new product features and improvements
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in firmware and control systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in firmware development and embedded systems
- Experience with C/C++ programming and hardware design tools such as Proteus or Multisim
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to embedded systems and firmware development
Qualifications
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality firmware and control system solutions
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and microcontrollers like ARM Cortex-M series
- Understanding of power electronics and motor control principles

Pay
Salary range: $120,000 - $150,000 annually
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
