About the role

The Integrated Vision Solutions Sector is seeking a Contracts professional looking to expand and grow strategic footprint within the organization. The ideal candidate is a self-starter capable of high-level independent work, providing expert guidance across the full contract lifecycle for DoD, Commercial, CAS-covered, and International Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, conduct and direct projects or major phases of significant project assignment, coordinating the efforts of internal stakeholders in the performance of assigned activities.
  • Administer moderate to large contracts of great complexity.
  • Independently negotiate with the customer contract terminology, pricing, technical requirements, scope and terms.
  • Recommend contract changes, including major revisions and coordinate the preparation and final negotiation of change orders, supplemental agreements, price re-determination, etc. affecting the life of the contract.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements to protect the company.
  • Monitor internal progress of contracts with various business units to ensure fulfillment of contract requirements.
  • Monitor and review for completeness, accuracy and conformance with Federal and Defense procurement regulations and company procedural requirements.
  • Prepare all necessary internal reports for management and periodic reports to customer contracting officers/buyers as required.
  • Assist in developing policies, procedures and practices relating to contract administration.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Security Clearance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 9 years of prior related experience in Contracts.
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
  • Working experience with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 15 acquisitions.

Skills

  • Active Security Clearance.
  • Demonstrated experience in Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contracting.
  • Understanding of cost and price estimating concepts and Intellectual Property principles.
  • Excellent written, verbal, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead within a cross-functional team environment.

Schedule

9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked – and have every other Friday off.
