About the role
This role requires a candidate with pre-identified experience, new sourcing, or existing subcon experience. The client prefers an interview schedule in the evening after 5 pm CST and requires in-person interviews after the first round of MS Teams interviews.
Work Location and Requirements
The work location is 1500 Post Oak Blvd, Houston, TX, 77056, and remote work is not an option. The candidate is required to be in the office for all days.
Performance Expectations
The candidate will have the chance to be permanent depending on their performance. The client expects the candidate to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage project stakeholders, train them in information management requirements, and Aconex related details.
Technical Hiring Criteria
The candidate must have the following skills:
- Project Information Management and document control experience of more than 10 years in the upstream oil and gas domain, preferably for Client projects.
- Proficient in EDMS tools like Aconex, Omega PIMS, or equivalent and able to configure project information management requirements in these tools.
- Demonstrate experience developing and implementing project IM plans, procedures, information requirements, registers, distribution matrices, workflows, assurance, training plans, and reporting.
Requirements and Qualifications
The candidate should have at least 10 years of relevant experience in project information management and document control for Client projects and worked on all stages of the project from Pre-FEED, FEED, detailed design, execution, fabrication, installation, hookup and commissioning, startup and final document handover to operations. A certification in document control or Aconex is preferable, and membership of ARMA International and DARMA is a plus. The candidate should also have a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
Skills
The candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office and reporting or data visualization tools such as Power BI. The candidate should also be able to coordinate with EPC contractors, site document controllers, and operations readiness team to effectively close out open document workflows, represent the information management team in internal and external audits, and work with the regulatory team on regulatory document submission.
