About the role

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Lead Construction Manager. The expected annual salary range for this role is $113,000 - $165,000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle project delivery—from planning and budgeting to scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management
  • Conduct thorough reviews of technical requirements, scope of work, and timelines during project handoff
  • Leverage project management tools and software to track milestones, manage deliverables, and ensure on-site execution stays on course
  • Facilitate and lead project meetings, maintaining clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders

  • Coordinate Eaton’s work around other trades to maximize efficiency and minimize disruption
  • Manage project closeout activities including punch lists, issue resolution, warranty handoff, and transition to ownership
  • Act as the primary on-site contact for all EESS-related activities throughout the project lifecycle
  • Promote and enforce safety initiatives across all job sites
  • Oversee financial performance through cost control, change order management, and risk mitigation
  • Collaborate with commercial operations, sales engineers, and technical support teams to align client expectations with project deliverables
  • Implement strategic program-level changes and initiatives from the Strategic Operations team
  • Mentor and guide team members, sharing expertise in project management and operational excellence to build team capability

Qualifications

  • Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum 15 years progressive experience in construction management, site supervision or project coordination, including at least 7 years leading electrical, industrial or general construction projects OR Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 7 years relevant construction management experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership or project management role.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, or electrical engineering from an accredited university7+ years electrical field services experience7+ years managing electrical construction or commissioning projects as a project manager or construction manager, preferably large complex projectsPMP or Commissioning Agent CertificationProficiency in project management and construction industry software packages (Microsoft Project, ProCore, etc.)OSHA 10 & 30 hour general industry or construction certification.
