Lead Community Center Associate (bilingual in Mandarin or Cantonese)

Responsibilities
- Answer member questions regarding their benefits and accessing care.
- Provide coverage of the Community Center reception area with excellent customer service.
- Act as a Medicare Advisor to community members with questions about their Medicare options.
- Schedule and plan health events held at the community centers, including booking vendors and ordering refreshments and supplies.
- Coordinate general building repairs with Facilities Manager/Department.
- Ensure sufficient building, office, and center supplies are available and stocked.
- Communicate with facilities and other departments.
- Maintain a proper inventory of equipment, promotional items, and marketing materials required to keep the center functional.
- Support community center events with logistic and planning efforts and other event activities.
- Track and monitor traffic flow at the center and utilization of services.
- Perform routine inspections to ensure equipment is working properly for quality assurance purposes.
- Manage the use of space to host internal and external meetings and programs, including signage forms, request for space use and reservation.
- Oversee the community center space to ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Identify and develop programs and activities that bring value and interest to the center; work closely with the Field Engagement and Sales team.
- Assist internal and external agents during events held at the community centers.
- Provide in-language support to members and prospects who have questions about Clever Care or Medicare.
- Identify and organize training needs as it relates to community center management.
- Identify and develop tools beneficial to assist community center representatives.
- Work and connect with other CCHP community center staff to produce weekly, monthly updates, calendar of activities and reports.
- Manage and support Community Center online presences.
- Track and monitor CCHP community centers budget and expenditures.
- Inform and work closely with facilities manager, managers, and leadership team on facility and maintenance needs and request.
- Other duties/tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education and Experience: Bachelor’s in Business, Marketing or Communications, or equivalent experience; one (1) year of customer service experience; one (1) year of experience in marketing, preferred; experience with working in health care, non-profit organizations, or senior community preferred; event planning or coordinator experience is a plus.
- Licenses: Life agent license and notary public license is a plus; training and licensing assistance will be provided to the right candidate.
- Skills: Bilingual in Vietnamese, Mandarin and/or Korean on a business-level (read, speaking and writing); excellent customer service skills; experience serving the senior population a plus; desire to help seniors get and stay healthy by improving their access and understanding of their healthcare options; detail-oriented planning and event coordination; reliable, present, and dedicated; strong organizational skills.
Schedule
This position is fully onsite. Must be able to work some Saturdays.
Pay
Wage range: $26.00 to $32.00 per hour.

- Must be able to travel when needed or required.
- Ability to operate a keyboard, mouse, phone and perform repetitive motion (keyboard); writing (note-taking).
- Ability to sit for long periods; stand, sit, reach, bend, lift up to fifteen (15) pounds.
- Ability to express or exchange ideas to impart information to the public and to convey detailed instructions to staff accurately and quickly.
- Work is performed in an office environment and/or remotely.
- The job involves frequent contact with staff and public.
- May occasionally be required to work irregular hours based on the needs of the business.
