Lead Commissioning Engineer
About the role
The successful candidate will develop and/or review test plans, commissioning plans, job sequence instructions for substation and transmission line contractors performing additions and modifications to the Electrical Transmission Lines, Substations, Controls, SCADA, relay protection circuits and associated equipment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and/or review test plans, commissioning plans, job sequence instructions for substation and line contractors performing additions and modification to the Electrical Transmission Lines, Substations, Controls, SCADA, relay protection circuits and associated equipment
- Act as an agent for the Client and ensure plans are in accordance with Clients’ testing procedures
Requirements
- 10+ years of commissioning and testing experience
- 345kV to 69kV experience in line and substation work
- Availability for potential extensive overtime and travel to various locations in New England region
- Ability to review and approve testing guidelines to include but not limited to:
- Job Cut-over Write ups
- Testing sequence Write ups
- Engineering changes
- Reviewing changes to One Lines, three Lines, Schematics and wiring prints after issue
- Testing/Commissioning Plans
- Job Sequences
- Track Changes requiring Client approval
Qualifications
- Associate/Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate/Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
Pay
This position pays between $140,000 to $170,000 annually and is an exempt position.
Schedule
Full time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours. May be eligible for discretionary bonus as determined by the company.
