Responsibilities

  • Perform all duties as per the SC Department of Health CNA training program
  • Assist with training and onboarding of the newly hired CNAs and Nursing Assistants
  • Provide guidance and oversight to ensure CNA work performance meets expectations
  • Ensure room cleanliness and organization by performing room checks on a weekly basis
  • Promote a cordial environment for the residents
  • Answer call lights and provide or assist residents with ADLs
  • Stock and distribute supplies as directed.
  • Follow guidelines for charges of items charged to residents and use them for the job without being wasteful
  • Clean, disinfect and return all equipment to its designated storage location after each use

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • CNA certified in state of SC
  • Three years of experience as a CNA
  • Intermediate computer skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • CPR certification
  • Five years of experience as a CNA
