Lead Cloud Solutions Engineer

The Lead Cloud Solutions Engineer supports the development and execution of cloud implementation strategy within the organization’s existing IT infrastructure. Specifically, this role focuses on Azure and involves enabling analytics, reporting, and data science insights.

Responsibilities

• Implement the organization's cloud strategy from a technical perspective, including design, planning, integration, maintenance, and support of cloud architecture.
• Work with stakeholders across the organization to evaluate cloud systems and identify appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to develop specifications for new cloud-based products/services, applications, and solutions.
• Drive the roll-out of cloud management platforms, evaluate its performance, and implement enhancements.
• Exercise independent judgment and decision-making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, working under minimal supervision.
• Mentor and coach developers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8 or more years of progressive IT experience as a senior developer in large IT projects.
• 2 or more years of technical leadership experience.
• In-depth experience with Azure cloud services.
• Strong experience building scalable data platforms and data engineering.
• Good communication, ownership, collaboration, and partnership-building skills.
• Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 or more professional Azure/GCP/AWS certifications.
• Experience with Databricks.
• Experience with AI/ML.
