Lead Clinical Laboratory Scientist
About the role
Provides direction within an assigned section or sub-section of the clinical laboratory. Performs prompt, accurate, and reliable laboratory procedures on patient specimens and evaluates, interprets, and reports test results to appropriate patient care personnel.

- Evaluates, interprets, and reports test results to appropriate patient care personnel
- Maintains and monitors laboratory tests for which the position is responsible
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree verified by state DOE as meeting Bachelor’s degree requirements for full licensure of a clinical lab technologist
- Full Clinical Laboratory Technologist License upon hire required OR laboratory technologist limited permit required not necessarily prior to hire, however prior to starting. If working with limited permit, must obtain full licensure within 9 months of hire
- 4 years clinical lab experience as a technologist required. 2 years within past 4 years performing laboratory tests for which position is responsible to monitor required
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree verified by state DOE as meeting Bachelor’s degree requirements for full licensure of a clinical lab technologist
Skills
- Ability to perform prompt, accurate, and reliable laboratory procedures
- Ability to evaluate, interpret, and report test results accurately
- Knowledge of relevant laboratory tests and procedures

Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.

Standard Hours: Bi-Weekly 75.00 hours
