About the role
The Lou Fusz Automotive Network seeks an experienced Lead Clerical to join their expanding automotive network. This position is available at a recently acquired dealership and requires prior automotive experience, with Dealertrack DMS and/or title experience being a definite plus.
Responsibilities
- Maintains and controls the general ledger.
- Reviews and initiates journal entries; monitors posted financial data.
- Researches and reviews transactions; advises departments on proper coding.
- Assists in developing financial reports.
- Works across departments to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
- Maintains detailed and complete accounting records to ensure accuracy of general ledger and audit compliance.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and standard dealership accounting practices.
- Strong analytical and deductive reasoning skills.
- Strong computer and data input skills with a high degree of accuracy.
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications, particularly Dealertrack DMS (though not required as training is provided).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability to work full-time Monday through Friday from 7 am to 5 pm.

- Ability to work alone with minimal supervision or as an effective member of a work team.
- Available to work full-time Monday through Friday during the hours of 7 am to 5 pm.
