About the role

Chroma Early Learning Academy is seeking a Lead Childcare Teacher Preschool in Canton, GA. This role involves working with a group of children, implementing curriculum, and maintaining a safe and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily class functions
• Implement approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedules
• Maintain an attractive, well-kept classroom
• Provide verbal recognition and clear expectations for children's behavior
• Assist with maintenance and housekeeping duties
• Attend staff meetings and workshops
• Maintain professional appearance
• Assist in other capacities as necessary

Requirements

• Associates Degree in Early Childhood Care and Education (Preferred)
• Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
• Previous experience working in childcare facility (Preferred)
• Absolutely must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
• At least 18 years of age

Pay

Hourly pay varies depending on experience and degree level. Range from $13 to $16/hour.
