Lead Childcare Teacher

About the role

Williams Learning Academy is seeking a dependable, caring, and experienced Lead Childcare Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children and daily activities
• Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
• Maintain classroom routines
• Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and educational development
• Maintain attendance and classroom records
• Assist with meals and toileting/diapering when needed
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom
• Communicate professionally with families
• Follow all center and Wisconsin licensing requirements

Requirements

• Meet Wisconsin requirements for a qualified childcare teacher
• Complete required background checks and training
• Required coursework:
  • Introduction to the Child Care Profession
  • Skills and Strategies for the Child Care Teacher
  • Fundamentals of Infant and Toddler Care
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred
• Previous childcare experience strongly preferred
