Responsibilities

• Implementing curriculum
• Changing diapers
• Feeding children
• Cleaning and sanitizing

Requirements

• Must meet basic requirements of local and state childcare regulatory agency
• Previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood program preferred but not required
• Knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children
• Able to lift 35 pounds in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma/GED
• 18+ years of age
• A comprehensive criminal background check

Pay

Hourly pay varies depending on experience and degree level. Range from $12 to $16/hour.
