We have a new location opening this fall and are looking for experienced Lead Teachers to join our growing team at our newest location! The best teachers know that learning happens everywhere—in block towers, story time, muddy puddles, and everyday conversations. As a nonprofit early childhood education program, we are committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging place where children can learn through play, build meaningful relationships, and develop the skills they need to be successful. Position Details

  • Full-time, year-round position
  • Start date: August 2026
  • Lead Teacher position for the 2026-2027 school year

What You'll Do

  • Create engaging, play-based learning experiences that support children's growth.
  • Plan and lead activities that encourage exploration, creativity, and skill development.
  • Establish a nurturing classroom environment where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn.
  • Provide attentive care and guidance to support each child's individual needs and developmental milestones.
  • Build strong partnerships with families through open communication and regular updates.

What We're Looking For

  • Ace's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, or a related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a childcare, preschool, or early learning setting.
  • Strong knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
  • Experience planning and implementing engaging curriculum and managing a classroom environment.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Current PA clearances and First Aid/CPR certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire.
