Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care for children ages six months to four years, attending to their personal needs including feeding, diapering, and rest time
• Create and maintain a clean, safe, and engaging environment that complies with all health, safety, and licensing regulations
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to childcare team members to ensure consistent care and service standards
• Communicate effectively and professionally with parents, guardians, and coworkers regarding children’s routines, progress, and needs
• Develop and facilitate age-appropriate activities such as arts and crafts, story time, indoor/outdoor play, and group games
• Maintain accurate attendance and booking records and support administrative functions as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall success and smooth operation of the childcare center

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience working with children
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds frequently throughout the day; the position requires lifting and carrying children while playing or in the Day Care

Pay

The expected pay range is $22.00/hr – $24.69/hr. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
