Lead Chemical Process Engineer

About the role

The PA Office Process Lead Chemical Engineer is responsible for overseeing process engineering activities in the Allentown office. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of chemical engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee process engineering projects from concept through implementation
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and systems

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in process engineering
• Experience leading process engineering projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices
• Experience with process simulation software
